Functional living skills designed for adults with intellectual or developmental differences as they relate to living at home, exploring the community, and working 在工作中. In this class, you will: explore health and wellness topics including nutrition, stress, hygiene, and self-esteem; how to stay safe in your home, the community, and during emergencies; and social interaction topics including peer pressure and harassment, making friends, conflict resolution, and communication skills.

Functional reading and math skills designed for adults with intellectual or developmental differences as they relate to living at home, exploring the community, and working 在工作中. In this class, you will: explore reading topics including background knowledge, 事实和. opinion, and inference; analyze persuasive and functional texts; evaluate topics of media literacy and internet safety; examine budgeting and banking issues, money 管理, and shopping; use measurement; utilize calendars; and explore time 管理.
